I love carrows it is very nostalgic and I love the food but it must have been this location and the day but my service was really poor, I really hate leaving bad reviews on places I love due to the people working there.
My appetizers were cold, I asked for no mushrooms in my burger and it was like I asked for double the amount when I got my food. The server checked on us like once after I had to flag her down for a refill on my drink.

!!!DO NOT PAY WITH CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS!!!!
The food here was good. Service was great. My visit was as a 5 star experience until I left. I went with a party of 5 and had 3 different orders. We asked to split the check and it wasnt an issue. Me and a friend paid using our credit cards and the cashier did not know what to do. We had a remaining balance of 47.15. $14 was on one card and the remaining balance on the rest. Needless to say after 15 mins of the Cashier trying to figure it out, he asked me what the balance was and assumed to figure it out.
We leave and the next day I am not charged and my friend was charged the $14 and the remaining of my meals. Wasnt a big issue I just gave him the balance he paid. Then 3 days later I am charged 33.15 and I call and they tell me to call back later to speak to a manager. A couple days go by and my friend is charged another 47.15 now we call again and speak to them and they seem confused again. They need to review the receipts and now we have to both go through the bank and dispute the charges.
We visited Last Wednesday and were charged this Tuesday almost a whole week later. Very suspicious and off putting. To charge me incorrectly is one thing but to charge both of us a whole week later is very suspicious.
I do not live in Pasadena and was visiting from Riverside so it is an inconvenience for me to go in person and handle this in person.
You guys need to train employees better and maybe have them ask for help when needed. Very bad experience. -

I like coming here ,the service is most of the time good ,but it's always nice to have a server with personality Marcia , she is great,talks to you and makes jokes
